Welcome to the Los Angeles County Management Council (LACMC) website

As the designated management organization for Los Angeles County since 1948, the LACMC serves the needs of County management by providing managers essential and comprehensive resources. The Council is committed to advancing County managers and the capabilities of these professionals to ensure that they are essential and effective partners in developing and executing organizational strategy in this extraordinary time.

As we work to provide a constantly challenging and innovative knowledge environment for the County, we have developed the following objectives:

• Provide strategic educational programs to assist managers in achieving goals and objectives consistent with the County’s strategic plan
• Develop a forum as part of the County’s succession plan to help develop new leaders
• Provide opportunities for management to network and exchange ideas and best practices between County departments
• Increase participation of members in LACMC leadership roles so that new and innovative ideas are introduced
